What is the product?

The Insurance Product is branded SenangSIKIT.  It stands for Shop, Insure & Keep It safe. It's Group Master Policy which is  Limited All Risk by Pacific Insurance Berhad. The master policy holder name is GHLPBP01 SDN BHD & SENANGNVS SDN BHD AS MASTER POLICYHOLDERS ON ALL INSURED PERSONS AS DECLARED BY THEM AND THEIR NOMINATED & APPROVED MERCHANTS.

Who is the underwriter?

This insurance policy is underwritten by The Pacific Insurance Berhad.

Who is the Agent

PWS RISK MANAGERS SDN.BHD with Agency Code: 00019034 is the appointed agent for this insurance policy. Senangnvs sdn.bhd is the appointed digital insurance platform for this group Limited All Risk Master Policy

Who can buy this policy?

Anyone within Malaysia are eligible to purchase this policy, provided they use GHL terminal to make payment. For non-Malaysians,  the insured person must hold permanent resident, work permit, pass holder or otherwise legally employed or legally residing in Malaysia. For non- Malaysians, this documents is needed at the point of claim

How long is the policy valid?

Your insurance policy coverage is valid for 365 days or a year. Example if purchased date is 2021-23-09 the coverage is valid until 2022-23-08. However, you are required to register your policy in 14 working days from date of purchase in the Portal in order to be eligible for any refund.

What is the coverage of this insurance policy?

The insurance policy is designed to protect the Subscriber against  Damage to their purchased item  due to accidental or unintentional drop/knock/press or external impact except where specifically excluded by the Protection. Liability under this Protection is limited to 1 (one) claim only for the duration of the cover and shall not exceed sum insured cost

How do you define accidental damage?

Accident/Accidental : An involuntary, external forcible, and violent event that gives rise to damage that is unforeseen, fortuitous, and not premeditated and occurs independently of all other causes. Damage: Physical breakage, destruction, and failure of the Subscriber’s Mobile Device that prevents the Subscriber’s Mobile Device from properly functioning.

How long is the coverage?

12 months. For example, item purchasing date on 5/1/2021, the coverage will last till 4/1/2022.

What is the territorial limit?

This insurance policy covers damage items within Malaysia ONLY.

What is the excess?

Excess means the deductible from the total amount payable by the insurance provider. For all items, expect bicycle, the excess amount is 2.5% or minimum RM50 for each and every claim for each item.

How do you define excess?

Amount paid by the customer in event of any claim. For example, the bicycle accidentally dropped and damaged. The cost of repair is RM2,500.00. The insurance company will pay RM2,500- RM750(Deductible) Borne by Customer which is RM1,750.00. The repair shop will collect the balance RM750.00.

Is this  Insurance policy subject to a minimum cooling-off period?

Yes, there is a cooling off period of 14 days. It means that it is not allowed to make a claim for the first 14 days of purchasing the policy. Yes, the insurance is subject to a cool off of 14 days from date of purchased. For example if your date of purchase is 1st January 2021, you only able to make a claim for any incident after 14th January 2021.

Where can I view details on my policy?

To view the details of the insurance policy, you are required to register the item in the portal. There-after, confirmation slip by Senang will be e-mailed to the customer with the insurance certificate uploaded by Insurance company within 35 working days from date item registered in portal. If you don't receive it, please contact Senang Customer Service Team

Can I cancel my Policy?

Yes, you can cancel your policy within first 14 days. However, to do so, you would need to register the item in the portal. Reason of cancellation would need to given. Upon approval of cancellation, the payment will be transferred within 14 working days from date of approval. At this point of time, the portal does not allow for cancellation and has to be done manually by contacting Senang support team

Who can I contact for Policy support?

Senang have created a detailed product disclosure sheet which will answer majority of your questions. It can be accessed at Product Disclosure Sheet.

What do I need to do if there are changes to my contact/ personal details?

You can update your personal information on the portal directly and there is no limitation to the changes in personal information. However, the item details that you have registered cannot be changed upon successful registration.

I only receive the GHL receipt and no insurance certificate was given

You have register your item via the portal. Upon successful registration, you will receive confirmation slip by Senang via e-mail within 2 working days and insurance certificate by the insurance provider within 35 working days from date of registration in the portal

I lost the GHL Receipt. How do I register my item in the Portal?

The GHL Transaction reference No in the receipt is outmost importance to register the policy. If you have misplaced the receipt, you are required to check with the GHL Merchant for the reference No.

What if I overlook to declare the item in the portal?

Your coverage will still be active. However, do take note, the refund features would not be available to you if you don’t register the item 14 days within 14 days from date of purchase. Furthermore, at point of claim, you will be required to register the item in the portal prior to making a claim.

I did not receive my insurance certificate after 45 working days. What do I do?

Your insurance certificate will be uploaded into the portal. There will be no e-mail notification given for the upload of insurance certificate. In event you don't receive the insurance certificate, you are required to e-mail or send us live chat via FB for our admin team to verify.

What is the confirmation slip by Senang? Is it valid?

The confirmation slip by Senang is given upon successful registration of the item in the portal. This document is certified by the insurance company and is valid document for proof of purchase together with GHL Receipt

How do I register my item in the portal?

Simple!
Make sure you have the GHL Receipt with you.
Key in the
1) Transaction Reference No,
2) Date of Purchase,
3) industry of the item
4) Upload invoice of the item for reference.
5) Key in the actual item value and the portal will verify your item·      

If the date of purchase is same day as date you register in the system, the portal will verify the item before 1pm the next day on status of registration . 

If the date of purchase is a different date from the date you register in the system, the portal will verify the item immediately or after 12pm the next day.

My purchased item was not successfully registered. Why?

(A) You have keyed in the wrong transaction reference No. Please refer to the step by step on how to find the transaction reference No to register your item in the Senang Portal
 (B) Your item value is having more than 2 decimal points.
The portal rounds up the decimal points. For example, If the amount is RM30.465, it will round up as RM30.47; If the amount is RM30.464, it will be RM30.46.
However, if it is already 2 decimal points which is RM30.46 and RM30.43, then it will be maintained as RM30.46& RM 30.43. ·     

 (C)How do I calculate my item value if I don’t have sales invoice from merchant?

Simple! If your insurance payment that you made was RM6.00 then item value  is calculated with this calculation:  RM6.00 divided by 6%: RM100 is the item value.  

How do I make claims?

You are firstly required to register your item in the portal. Upon successful registration, you can proceed to register your item in the portal. You can then select the designated supplier in the system to repair the item. Take note that they will communicate with you via various channels in order to ensure items falls within the insurance coverage. For further information, you may watch the video tutorial on how to register a claim.

How many times can I make a claim?

Claim can only be made once irrespective of the value of the property insured. For example, the item value is RM6,000.00 but the claim amount is RM300.00. Upon successful claim, the insurance is considered void.

Do I receive cash payment for successful claims?

Please note that reimbursement of cash is ONLY made in the following scenarios:

1. Customers who have their own repairer's in event the Senang platform is not able to find any particular suppliers.
This reimbursement via cash will be paid within 14 working days from notification of successful claim by the insurance provider with full documentation

Can the repairs be done by the customer’s 3rd party or it must be done by authorized Senang repairer?

Customer is given a choice whether to choose their merchant to repair it or Senang appointed third party provider. In event both choices are not available, then customer can proceed to appoint their own supplier. Do take note this will be a case to case scenario and we will advice accordingly.

Can customers make claims within 3-4 days from purchase date?

No, customers can only make any claims after 14days from the item purchase date as the first 14 days is the cooling period.

What is excess means?

Excess means the deductible from the total amount payable by the insurance provider. This deductible is stated in the confirmation slip.

Who can I contact to check on the claim status?

You may view the status of the claims in the portal in the claim dashboard which shows the status of the claim whether pending, approved or rejected. You will also receive an email once claim is approved or rejected by the insurance provider. .

What are the documents needed for a claim?

1.      Photos of item damages- Front/Right/Left/Back
2.      Photos of item after repair- Front/Right/Left/Back
3.      Discharge Voucher signed by customer (to have a proof the item has been fixed and accepted by customer)
4.      Investigation/Damage Report
5.      Invoice from merchant that shows item purchase with full item value
6.      Collection Note Signed by Customer (To proof that item has been collected by the customer)
7.      You are also required to fill up the bank details of your company in the profile section.

Without prejudice to liability, Insurance company reserve the right to ask to ask further information if needed and will be communicated to the merchant and customer.

To whom is claim payable to?

Claim is payable to customer chosen repairer. It  could be to the  merchant who have sold the item or Senang authorized repairer, as they are the authorized parties to repair the item.

To whom is excess payable to?

Claim excess is payable to either merchant or the appointed supplier who did the repair for the damage item upon collection of items.

Who will pay delivery charges?

Delivery fee to the merchant and supplier is shouldered by the customer as it is not part of the coverage of this insurance.

Will my product be replaced if the damage to it is beyond repair?

In cases where Senang repairs or replaces the item, the following may be applied:·      
(1) Replacement with a different model of equal performance to the damaged item·      
(2) Replaced item is of a different manufacturer
(3) Replaced item of similar features and functions as the Damaged or Stolen item but not identical and of similarity in efficacy

What if my son drop the items and broke the fridge?

Damages caused due to any external accident, or any physical damage is covered under All Risks Policy.

If my fridge isn’t working, will the food inside be covered?

The All Risks Policy do not cover consequential damages, like food spoilage, clothing and etc.

Will checking the fridge/ washing machine be charged per visit?

No, All Risks Policy covers only the cost of repair, It does not cover anything outside of the policy.

If my Electrical item breakdown, can I make a claim?

In case the electrical item break down or suffers a complete damage/loss and not caused by Accidental Damage, the insurance policy does not cover it.

Can I make a claim if my electric pot accidentally fell on the kitchen sink while washing it?

No, any forms of claim that caused by liquid damage is not covered under the All Risks Policy

Can I make claim if my water boiler accidentally fell and broke?

Any form of physical damage caused by accidental damage to the item is covered in the All Risks Policy.

Is fan blade claimable?

Accidental damage arising to physical damage to item is claimable provide the claim amount is more than 2.5% or minimum RM50 for each and every claim

Is total damage to electric items claimable?

Yes, However the pay value will take into consideration of depreciation and an adjuster will be assign to evaluate and check thoroughly to prevent any abnormal claims.

Is mechanical or electrical breakdown covered by accidental damage?

Yes, the cost of repair and replacement is covered in case of mechanical or electrical breakdown if the breakdown is caused by Accidental Damage.

What kind of electrical items are claimable?

Electrical items refers to any electrical or electronic equipment or gadget capable of being operated by electrical current and/or within any wireless network.

Is aesthetic damage covered?

Yes, physical damage to the substance of property is claimable.

What is the deductible for electrical item?

Does it cover in case overseas damage?

No, All Risks Policy does not cover overseas damage. It covers within  Malaysia ONLY

Do we cover data loss to the electrical item?

No, All Risks Policy does not cover damage to data or software, in particular any detrimental change in data, software or computer programs that is caused by deletion, a corruption or a deformation of the original structure.

Can I make a claim if my electric pot accidentally fell on the kitchen sink while washing it?

No, any forms of claim that caused by liquid damage is not covered under the All Risks Policy

What if a road accident occur, will the car accessories be covered ?

If the main insurance policy which is motor insurance has covered the car accessories, this insurance policy will not cover for the damages caused to the car accessories

Is car bumper claimable?

Car bumper is factory fitted car accessories and it is not covered in the policy.

Is car exterior claimable?

No, this insurance policy does not cover factory fitted car accessories but additional car accessories that is purchased by you  is claimable as it is non factory fitted accessories.

What kind of car accessories can be claimed?

All kinds of interior of the car but not limited to dash covers, seat covers, mirrors, shifter knobs, steering wheel covers, fuel consumption meters, window tint, audio visual systems, floor mats purchased from a car accessories outlet

2.5% subject to minimum of RM50 for each and every loss.

Is wilful damage covered?

Any damage caused deliberately to the insured item will not be cover under the All Risks Policy.

Does it cover in case overseas damage?

No, All Risks Policy does not cover overseas damage. It covers within Peninsular Malaysia ONLY.

Do we cover for loss of potential earnings?

No, All Risks Policy does not cover any forms of loss of earnings or indirect damage of any kind.

Do we cover for delivery charges?

What if the device drops into the sea is it claimable?

No. You are required to return the device to chosen repairer. As part of the insurance claim protocol, the repairer must see the device that are returned.

Can it be claimed if the laptop or phone has internal damages?

No, as this policy only covers Aesthetic Damages, Total damage* and Accidental Damages. To claim for internal damage, must have external damages

For screen crack, if it is claimed. Does it affect their existing warranty correct?

No. It does not affect the existing warranty as assigned 3rd party will only be touching the aesthetic damages not internal damages.

In case drop into water , outside look of the device good condition but having internal damage can TMT insure claim?

No. This insurance package is for accidental damage on the outside. If for internal damage, it’s not claimable

In the event of screen damage to the Apple products specifically, would the device be replaced with a refurbished device or would only the screen be replaced?

The screen would only be replaced, not the entire device and warranty will not be void.

Do the claims include shoes cleaning or polishing?

No, the claim is only eligible for shoe repairing caused by accidental damage.

What kind of footwear can I claim?

Refers to garments that people wear on their feet including but not limited to any kind, variant or style of socks, shoes, sneakers, boots flip-flops slippers, crocs cleats sandals, clogs heels, stilettos, slingback ballets flats, oxford bluckers, loafers.

Can outer sole accidentally separate from footwear parts claimable?

Yes, any forms of physical damage resulted from accidental damage is cover under All Risks Policy, provided claim amount is more than RM50.00 or minimum 2.5% of the claim amount

My high heels are new but it has accidentally scratch on the upper part, can I claim?

Yes, any forms of physical damage resulted from accidental damage is cover under All Risks Policy, provided claim amount is more than RM50.00 or minimum 2.5% of the claim amount

Is shoe padding claimable?

Yes ,if it is accidentally damage and not caused by liquid damage and more than Rm50.00 or minimum 2.5% of the claim amount.

Is aesthetic damage covered?

Yes, physical damage to the substance of property is claimable.

No, If your fashion items are damaged to the pollution or contamination, coverage for the same will not be provided.

If my fashion item were to be destroyed by insects/pests, can the customer still make claims with it?

No, All Risks Policy covers accidental damage ONLY.

Is damage to handbag/bag claimable?

Hand bag is held and carried not worn therefore it is not covered by All Risks Policy. ONLY worn fashionwear.

What kinds of fashion wear can be claimed?

Any form of clothing, apparel, garments, attire, outfit, costume, robes, vestments or accessories made, knitted, woven, matted or bound from natural or synthetic fiber, fabrics or materials; worn by people.

I accidentally sat on the new painted chair, can I claim for damage pants?

Paint is considered liquid damage, hence it is not covered by All Risks Policy.

Can I claim if the zip of my pants is damage?

Yes, any forms of physical damage caused by accidental damage is cover under the All Risks Policy, provided claim amount is more than RM 50.00

Yes, physical damage to the substance of property is claimable.

What is the deductible for Fashion wear?

2.5% subject to minimum of RM 50.00 for each and every loss.

Is wilful damage covered?

Are swimming goggles inclusive for the claims?

No. All Risk Policy does not cover swimming googles.

Is a diving mask inclusive for the claim?

No. It is not covered under All Risks Policy.

Can I claim if there are scratches on my sunglasses?

Yes, All Risks Policy cover  accidental damage resulted to scratches of sunglasses, however ensure that the original purchase price must be above RM50.00.

If my power glasses were to increase/decrease, and it is sent as repair, can it be claimed?

No, as All Risks Policy covers accidental damage ONLY.

What kind of optical wear is claimable?

Refers to eyewear consists of items or accessories involved with the sense of sight worn on or over the eyes, for fashion or adornment, protection against the environment, . or to improve or enhance visual acuity.

Template tips of my glasses were damage, can I claim?

Yes, All Risks Policy covers, provided the claim amount higher than minimum 2.5% of the claim amount or minimum RM50.00

What kind of furniture is claimable?

Refers to contents such as sofas, chairs, tables, beds, cupboards and cabinets that are put into a house, office or building to make it suitable for living or working in.

Is Furniture claimable if it were contaminated or damaged due to tarnish?

No, If your furniture are damaged due to exposure to moisture, contamination, wear or tear, coverage for the same will not be provided.

Does the claims include Furniture cleaning or polishing?

No, the claim is only eligible for shoe repairing caused by accidental damage.

Is aesthetic damage covered?

Yes, physical damage to the substance of property is claimable.

If my bicycle had an accident, does it cover third party liability?

Currently, All Risks Policy only covers accidental damage to the substance of property not to 3rd party liability

Can I renew my policy for my bicycle after it expires?

Since insurance coverage is purchased upon payment using GHL terminal, there is no renewal at the moment.

Can I claim if my bicycle is stolen?

In the meantime, All Risks Policy does not cover loss/theft. You may buy different insurance so that your bike can cover for theft.

Can I claim if my bike had a crash damage?

Yes, All Risks Policy covers accidental and physical damage to substance of property.

If my bike is totally wreck and unable to fix, Can I claim?

Will a frame repair void the warranty?

Many major manufacturers have stated that they would not honor a warranty claim for the repaired area, however, they would honor a warranty claim for the remainder of the frame. It is prudent that you, as a consumer, educate yourself on the nuances of the warranty contact from your bike’s manufacturer. Always make sure to understand your rights as a consumer. The Federal Trade Commission (FTC), the nation's consumer protection agency, says it’s illegal for a dealer to deny your warranty coverage simply because repairs were performed by someone else: the burden of proof that product failure resulted from previous repairs lies on them.

Can bicycle with attached motor claimable?

Yes, refers to a vehicle consisting of two wheels held in a frame one behind the other, propelled by pedals and steered with handlebars attached to the front wheel and used for leisure.

Does the insurance cover for medical expenses in case you meet in accident while cycling?

No, All Risks Policy covers property damage ONLY. It means physical damage to the substance of property. It does not cover Medical Coverage.

Can I claim if my camera accidental damage to water?

Any form of liquid damage is not covered under All Risks Policy

Are camera equipments covered in the policy?

Camera coverage refers to lightproof box with lens at one end light sensitive film at the other. Therefore equipment is not covered.

My camera lens is damage can I make a claim?

Yes, All Risks Policy covers any forms of accidental damage and claim amount is more than RM 50.00

Can I make a claim to any forms of accidental damage to my camera?

Yes, Coverage under All Risks policy shall mean physical damage to the substance of property but limited to accidental damage ONLY. Liquid damage is uncovered.

Is aesthetic damage covered?

Yes, physical damage to the substance of property is claimable.

Do we have to pay to be a Merchant?

There is no monthly cost and the portal provide unlimited access for as long as you are registered GHL Merchant and you have sold one SenangSikit product.

Can a merchant add users in the portal?

You can add unlimited sub users to manage the policy and claims in the Portal. The addition of sub users is done by the main admin of the merchant.  For reference, here is the step by step flow. Senang have also prepared a easy simple to use video for your reference

Can I include all my outlet in the portal?

Yes, all outlets will be automatically included into the portal if it’s using same merchant ID. You can manage multiple locations in one single portal

As a merchant, can I make claim in behalf of my customer?

Yes, you can make a claim on behalf of the customer. You need to search for transaction reference No in the portal and register the item prior to making a claim. For easier, reference, please refer to this step-by-step flow.

What are the documents needed to be submitted before getting payment from the insurance provider for claim repair?

1.      Photos of item damages- Front/Right/Left/Back
2.      Photos of item after repair- Front/Right/Left/Back
3.      Discharge Voucher signed by customer (to have a proof the item has been fixed and accepted by customer)
4.      Investigation/Damage Report
5.      Collection Note Signed by Customer (To proof that item has been collected by the customer)
6.      Invoice from merchant that shows item purchase with full item value
7. You are also required to fill up the bank details of your company in the profile section.

Without prejudice to liability, Insurance company reserve the right to ask to ask further information if needed and will be communicated to the merchant and customer.

When do I receive my insurance claim payment if i have repaired the item on customer behalf?

The claim payment is paid to you within 14working days upon submission of all required documents by the insurance provider.

How do I register into the portal?

You need to have your M3ID that can be obtained from GHL Statement of Account or from the sales receipt.

Furthermore, you will be given access to the system regardless of whether any sales made for SenangSikit.

If there no sales made for SenangSikit made within 7 days from date of registration, the system will terminate the access to the portal. You are required to re-register again.

Excess means the deductible from the total amount payable by the insurance provider.
(a) This deductible is 2.5% or Minimum RM50 for each and every item for all industries expect Bicycle.
(b) The deductible for bicycle is 3.5% or minimum RM750 for each and every claim for selected items. For detailed excess, please refer to the Product Disclosure Sheet
